Why is insetting becoming increasingly important to companies?

Insetting is rapidly gaining in importance because it enables companies to achieve their climate targets credibly and directly in their own supply chain. Instead of financing carbon offsetting elsewhere in the world, insetting allows companies to make targeted investments in their own supply chain. This results in a real, measurable improvement for the soil, the environment and the long-term resilience of food production.

How much CO₂ can be saved by using biochar?

The targeted incorporation of biochar into agricultural soils safely sequesters carbon for centuries. Depending on the raw material and production process, between 2 and 3 tonnes of CO₂ can be permanently removed from the cycle per tonne of biochar. Why is biochar better than conventional CO₂ compensation?
